Note - It's a sequel to BY NEXT DIWALI story. 

For the next few months Jaya noticed Kumari and Sudhakar going out in matching sarees and having fun together. 

What surprised Jaya is that somehow Kumari convinced Sudhakar to get his nose pierced. Sudhakar looked so beautiful with a nose stub. 

After few more days, Kumari and Sudhakar moved to a different location because of Kumari's job. 

As Jaya was working in the kitchen, she heard the sound of the door bell. She opened the door and saw a woman standing before her with a pleasant smile. 

"Hi, I am Rupa. We just moved here", said Rupa pointing to a house, where Kumari and Sudhakar used to live. 

Jaya greeted her back with a smile and invited her into the house. 

"We ran out of gas, so If you don't mind, can you lend me gas cylinder? ", said Rupa

"Even I don't have extra cylinder ", said Jaya

Rupa was little disappointed. 

"Just give me a sec", said Jaya and called someone. 

After a minute, 

"Wait for sometime, it's on the way", said Jaya

Listening to it Rupa was happy. 

In the mean time, Rupa and Jaya get to know about each other. 

After 30 min, the cylinder came to Jaya's home. 

Rupa started to take it her home but it was heavy for her. So Jaya helped Rupa to carry it to her home. 

As they entered Rupa's home, Jaya noticed a man watching TV. He didn't even get up to help them. 

Jaya was angry but she didn't say anything. 

Quickly Jaya and Rupa became friends. Just like anyone Rupa mistaken Rupa's son has her daughter. 

So one day, 

"So are you seeing any matches for your daughter? ", asked Rupa. 

Jaya smiled listening to it. 

" Actually, I don't have a daughter, it's my son ", said Jaya with a smile. 

"Hey, just because she wears pant and shirts occasionally, you can't call her a boy ", said Rupa with a laugh. 

" No, it's the the truth ", said Jaya and Rupa still didn't believe Jaya. 

So Jaya explained her everything to Rupa, including how she helped Kumari turn her son into her daughter in an year. 

Rupa couldn't believe what she was hearing. 

Few days passed, 

On Sunday Rupa came to Jaya's home. In between their discussions. 

"Jaya, can you help me the way you helped kumari?", asked Rupa. 

Jaya was little confused. 

"But you have kids yet", said Jaya. 

"I mean, can you help me with my husband? He is a misogynist. Even though he has been jobless for months, he is not even trying to get a good job and he is not even helping me with the household chores", said Rupa and Jaya was listening to it. 

"I am just tired of doing everything on my own", said Rupa and started crying. 

Immediately Jaya sat beside Rupa and tried to console her. 

"Rupa, I can assure you in an year, I will turn your husband into housewife ", said Jaya confidently

Rupa looked at Jaya hopefully in her tearful eyes. 

Jaya explained few things to Rupa. 

Just like Jaya told her, at night Rupa asked her husband, Deepak to help her with household chores. But he didn't do it and he even started saying it's woman's work and a man shouldn't do it. 

Listening to it, Rupa got very angry. 

"Deepak, if you don't change you attitude and help me with the household chores. I will divorce you", shouted Rupa and went to bedroom. 

Listening to it, Deepak was stunned. He never expected it. 

Next day he apologize to Rupa in the morning but Rupa didn't say anything and went to office. 

For the next few days nothing has changed. 

On Monday, Deepak thought maybe doing some household chores will reduce Rupa's anger. So he started to make dinner by watching YouTube. 

When Rupa arrived home, she saw dishes on the dinning table, she felt happy and decided to taste them. The taste is so bad that she couldn't even swallow a bite, looking at it Deepak became embarrassed. 

Rupa is happy. Even though Deepak couldn't cook well, he tried, she thought. 

"It's ok", said Rupa with a smile and took Deepak into the kitchen. 

With Rupa's instructions, Deepak prepared the dinner. After having dinner, Rupa looked at him with so much love. She took his hand and walked him to the bedroom. Deepak was stunned, he never saw Rupa being aggressive in sex. 

Next day in the morning, both Rupa and Deepak cooked breakfast together. 

"Deepak, yesterday you tried to cook but it was not good", said Rupa

"I am sorry Rupa. I will do better ", said Deepak

"I know you would but I need you to get better quickly", said Rupa and Deepak was silent. 

"I have asked Jaya to teach you how to do household chores", said Rupa

Deepak was stunned. 

"Jaya is not required. I will learn it on my own", said Deepak but Rupa didn't listen. 

"It's for your own good", responded Rupa and went to office. 

Around 11 am, Deepak heard the door bell. Deepak opened it and saw Jaya standing at the door. 

Deepak was embarrassed but he couldn't say anything. 

After speaking for a while, Jaya started her teachings to Deepak. 

She started to teach him to clean the house with a broom, cleaning dishes and washing clothes and at night she thought him how to cook dinner as well. 

At night, Rupa was very impressed by Deepak's work. She praised him for his work. 

Deepak felt happy, even though he was working non stop the entire day, Rupa's praise made him forget all the struggles. 

For next few weeks, Jaya continued to teach him the household chores to Deepak and he started to get used to them. 

One day in the morning, 

"Rupa, do you have a pair of anklets? ", asked Jaya

"Yeah, I have. Do you want them? ", asked Rupa. 

" No, not for me. They are for your husband ", said Jaya confidently. 

"What? ", said Rupa with a shock. 

Jaya told Rupa what to do. 

The entire day, Deepak did the chores. In the evening, 

"You are not really that strong, are you? " Asked Jaya. 

Deepak was surprised by that. 

"I mean, I saw you struggling to move a cylinder in the morning", said Jaya with a smile. 

"But I am still strong than you ", responded Deepak. 

" Oh, really? "Said Jaya

" Do you want me to prove it? "Asked Deepak

" Yes and what if you loose? "Said Jaya

"I will do anything you ask", said Deepak confidently. 

They started to arm wrestle and to Deepak's surprise, he lost and he was embarrassed to look at Jaya. 

"And what should be your punishment? ", said Jaya.

Immediately she took the pair of anklets which are on the table before the sofa. 

Looking at them Deepak immediately said no. 

"You have lost the bet. And it's your punishment. Keep your feet on the sofa", said Jaya sternly

Deepak was embarrassed but he placed his feet on the sofa. 

Without wasting anytime, Jaya fixed the ankles to his feet. 

"So for how much time, I have to wear them? ", asked Deepak with embarrassment. 

"As soon as you can beat me in arm wrestle. You can remove them", teased Jaya

Deepak got angry and they immediately arm wrestled but he lost again. He was embarrassed. 

"Being a man, you lost arm wrestling to me twice. I hope you stick to our bet", said Jaya with a smile

Deepak was embarrassed. His male ego is hurt. 

After that with Jaya's help Deepak prepared dinner. Whenever he moved his feet, lot of sound is coming off his feet. 

Once Jaya left, Deepak sat on the sofa nervously. He doesn't know how Rupa would react seeing him with anklets. 

Around 8 pm, Rupa came home. As soon as she came, she glanced at the table for anklets and they were missing. She smiled to her herself. 

She noticed Deepak sitting on the sofa. 

"Deepak, get me some water", said Rupa while sitting on the sofa. 

Deepak didn't move, so Rupa told him again angrily. With no choice Deepak stood and started to walk towards kitchen. 

With his each step, cham cham noise started to come of his feet. 

Rupa was surprised how Jaya was able to do it. 

Deepak was really embarrassed. He handed the water bottle to Rupa. 

"So you decide to wear the anklets" Said Rupa looking at his feet. 

Deepak wanted to explain himself but Rupa didn't allow. 

"Its ok, you don't need to explain anything. Anyway I am not wearing them, at least you can use them", said Rupa. 

Deepak to explain but Rupa changed the topic to dinner. 

Dinner was almost prepared and with Rupa's help it's done and they had a pleasant dinner. 

Few weeks passed, even though Deepak was still wearing anklets, he didn't mind it, since Rupa is not saying anything about it. 

In the evening as Deepak was cleaning the house, the door bell rang. Jaya opened it and collected a package. 

"What is it? " Asked Deepak. 

"Some accessories, I lend them before", said Jaya while placing it next to the sofa. 

After Deepak finished his work. He sat on the sofa to take some rest. 

" I see, you got used to the anklets" teased Jaya and Deepak didn't say anything. 

"You know, I am really surprised that you lost to me twice", said Jaya trying anger Deepak and it worked. 

"I am stronger than you", said Deepak

"Oh really? ", teased Jaya. 

"Yes, we can arm wrestle again. If I win,I will remove the anklets", responded Deepak

"What if I win?", asked Jaya. 

"Your wish", responded Deepak. 

Unlike before, it was close this time which surprised Jaya but she won. Which embarrassed Deepak. 

"It's time for your punishment", said Jaya

Deepak started to feel nervous. He doesn't know what she would do. 

After 5 min, 

"Turn around, Deepak ", said Jaya. 

"Why? " Asked Deepak. 

"I will attach these hair extensions to your shoulder length hair", said Jaya. 

Deepak was stunned. He tried to convince Jaya but she didn't listen. 

With no choice, Deepak turned around and Jaya started to work on his hair. 

He hoped the extension shouldn't be long. Jaya took so much time. After added the extensions, she started to brush it. 

Deepak sat very nervously. 

"It's done", said Jaya and placed braid on his shoulder. 

The braid stunned, Deepak. The braid is too long. It would definitely cross his butt. 

Deepak wanted to cry but he controlled his tears. Soon after that Jaya left. 

Deepak went to kitchen and started to do preparation for the dinner. He was immersed in the thoughts. He didn't see Rupa entering the house. 

Rupa placed her bag on the sofa and walked into kitchen. She was surprised to see, a woman standing in the kitchen in pant and shirt. 

Before she can say anything. Deepak turned around, while working. It stunned Rupa and Deepak was embarrassed to keep an eye contact with Rupa. 

Rupa walked to Deepak and took the braid into her hand. 

Deepak started talking " Rupa, it's Jaya ". But Rupa didn't let him speak. 

"I am happy that you are trying new things", said Rupa and kissed on his lips. 

It stunned Deepak and after that he didn't try to say anything. 

Rupa with a bright smile walked out of the kitchen and immediately called Jaya. 

Jaya smiled, seeing Rupa's name on her phone. 

"So did you like your husband's braid? " Asked Jaya proudly. 

"I absolutely loved it. I don't how you are achieving it? ", said Rupa with happiness. 

"It's really simple. I know, where to target men", said Jaya

Listening to it, Rupa laughed. 

"And you have to be careful. Make sure you are not making fun of him. Try to support him and praise his beauty", said Jaya and Rupa agreed. 

Rupa went back to kitchen and she was starring at Deepak. As he was working, his braid swung and  hitting his butt. 

The very next day, after having breakfast. 

"Deepak, sit here. I will braid your hair", said Rupa holding a hair brush. 

Deepak said no but Rupa insisted. 

Rupa took her time and neatly brushed his hair. 

After brushing it, she started to braid his hair, she added a hair clip at the top and at the end she secured the braid with a scrunchie. 

Rupa couldn't believe, she is actually braiding her husband's hair. Once it's done, Deepak started to walk towards the kitchen. 

Rupa can already see the behavior changes in her husband. He has become less aggressive and become responsible as well. 

A month passed and Rupa is having so much fun this Deepak's hair. With her insistence Deepak learnt how to do his hair. 

In the evening when Deepak was cooking in the kitchen. Rupa hugged him from behind tightly. 

"You are looking so beautiful with your long hair", said Rupa kissing him on his neck. 

Deepak started to blush. 

He constantly started to get compliments from Rupa and Jaya about his hair and how the long hair really suited him. 

When Rupa entered their bedroom, she saw Deepak standing before a mirror admiring his long braid. It made her very happy. 

Since then, she started to teach him different hairstyles and how to use different hair accessories. At first he was hesitant to use hair accessories but with Rupa's insistence, he tried them. 

On Sunday, Rupa went to Jaya's home. They don't know how to proceed further, Jaya knows, Deepak would not agree for arm wrestling with her again. So they started to think about few plans. 

"I am out of ideas, Rupa. It's up to you now", said Jaya after thinking for a long time. 

"Me? What can I do? ", asked Rupa with a surprise. 

"You have to seduce him and convince him into wearing nighties", said Jaya

Rupa was not confident. 

"Once you do that. Getting him into sarees is easy", said Jaya. 

Rupa went home thinking about it. Few days passed but Jaya didn't see Deepak in the nighties but Jaya believed in Rupa. 

That at night, 

At night, with lot struggle Rupa was able to seduce, Deepak. Deepak was sucking her breasts. 

"Deepak, with your long hair, pants doesn't suit, will you wear nighty for me", whispered Rupa in his ears. 

Deepak heard it but he didn't respond. 

Rupa immediately started to kiss all over his body, slowly moved her lips towards his penis and kissed it, it excited Deepak. She started stroking it and it was heaven for Deepak. 

"Deepak will you wear a nighty for me? ", asked Rupa stroking his penis. 

"Yes, I will wear it", shouted Deepak. 

" Is that a promise? ", asked Rupa with a smile. 

" Yes, it's a promise. Please don't stop ", shouted Deepak. 

When once he was climaxed, he was like in a trance and Rupa saw it as a opportunity and wore him the nighty. 

Rupa smiled looking at her husband wearing her nighty. 

Next day, when Deepak woke up, he was embarrassed to seeing himself in the nighty. He immediately removed it, just then Rupa also woke up. She started to kiss him and lead him into the bathroom. 

Once they came out of the bathroom. Rupa took a beautiful nighty for Deepak and walked towards him. 

Deepak immediately wanted to say no. 

"Thank you for promising me to wear a nighty. I know you will never break your promise" Said Rupa with a smile and kissed him again. 

Deepak couldn't say anything. He didn't resist as Rupa helped him into the nighty and zipped it in the back. 

"Prepare the breakfast quickly, I am getting late for work", said Rupa and started to get ready. 

Deepak was really embarrassed. "As if wearing anklets and having long hair not enough, why did I agree to wear a nighty", Deepak cursed himself. 

Rupa walked into kitchen after getting ready. She really liked to see Deepak in a nighty. He was looking like a woman from behind with his long hair and wearing a nighty. 

She hugged him tightly from behind and started to kiss on his neck. 

After having breakfast Rupa left for work and Deepak doesn't have much time to worry about being in the nighty. He has so much house work today. He has to mop the entire house and wash so many clothes. 

After having breakfast, after sweeping the floor, he started to mop the floor. 

When Jaya entered the house, for a second, Jaya wondered why Rupa didn't go to office, then she she realised it's Deepak, Rupa doesn't have this much long hair. She was proud of Rupa's work. 

Deepak noticed Jaya but he was too embarrassed to look at Jaya. 

Few more weeks passed and with help of Jaya, he started to arrange his works in a schedule, instead of doing all works in a single. He split then properly. He realised nighties are more comfortable instead of night pants and he started to feel comfortable around Jaya and Rupa, since they are not making fun of him for wearing nighties. 

Because of Jaya's insistence, Deepak started to watch daily serials as well. At first he did like them but after watching them for few days, he got interested in them. Just then Jaya received a call from Rupa. 

"Hi, Rupa", said Jaya

"Hi, Jaya. Is everything going fine? ", asked Rupa

"Everything is going really fine. As of now I am watching serials with Deepak", said Jaya standing far away from Deepak. 

"Deepak is watching serials! ", asked Rupa. 

"I don't know, why you are so surprised. It's common for a housewife to watch serials", said Jaya with a smile. 

"I agree", said Rupa with a smile. 

On Saturday, after having breakfast both Rupa and Deepak were watching a tv together. 

Rupa couldn't  belive she is watching a serial with her husband with both of them wearing a nighty. 

Rupa was admiring his beauty. She looked at him from top to bottom, then she noticed his stubs. They were very old. 

"Deepak, these stubs are very old", said Rupa.

"Yeah, so old", responded Deepak. 

Immediately Rupa took his hand and walked him into their bedroom. 

As Deepak sat in the bed, Rupa took out a pair of jhumkas. 

She sat beside him and started to remove his stubs. Deepak immediately understood what Rupa is trying to do. He immediately back off but Rupa didn't leave it. 

Deepak tried to resist but at end Rupa successfully inserted jhumkas to his ear lobes. 

Deepak was very sad. 

"Deepak, don't be sad darling. I can't wear them to office and these earrings haven't been used for a long time. At least you can use them", said Rupa trying convince Deepak. 

It was completely different feeling for Deepak. The jhumkas are pulling his ears down. 

"But Rupa these are for woman", said Deepak trying to convince Rupa. 

"No, these are not only for woman. There are used to make our ears look good and I want to make your ears look good for me" , said Rupa with a bright smile. 

Deepak couldn't argue any more with Rupa. 

"Come let's prepare lunch together", said Rupa and walked him into the kitchen.

On Sunday, Deepak didn't complain anything about the earrings, which made Rupa very happy. 

The very next day when Jaya saw Deepak wearing jhumkas. She felt happy as everything is going very well. 

After a week, Rupa entered the home with anger and Deepak doesn't know why. 

"Deepak, tomorrow onwards don't just clean inside the house, clean outside the house as well. It is so dirty at the entrance gate and the house owner is asking me about it", shouted Rupa

Deepak doesn't know what to do. He was silent. 

"And after cleaning it, draw rangoli as well", said Rupa. Deepak wanted to oppose. 

"But Rupa" He started to say something. 

"No but Deepak", said Rupa angrily. Looking at her anger, Deepak didn't say anything. 

Next day Deepak woke up so early in the morning. He was afraid someone is going to see him. He quickly cleaned everything but he doesn't know how to draw rangoli. 

Once Rupa had breakfast, she walked out and within minutes, she walked into the house and went to Deepak. 

"Deepak, I told you to draw a rangoli", said Rupa

"I am sorry Rupa. I don't know how to draw a rangoli. Today I will learn it from Jaya and from tomorrow, I will draw it", said Deepak. 

Rupa calmed down a little. 

"Not just a rangoli, learn how to do prayers in the house and how to make garlands as well. I will tell Jaya to teach you everything", said Rupa and went to office. 

Deepak had lot of work in the morning. So after having lunch, Jaya started to teach him how to draw a rangoli. By the end he learnt few rangoli's.

Deepak was still very nervous going out. 

"Deepak, why are you so nervous? " Asked Jaya and he explained Jaya that he was worried walking out in a nighty. 

Jaya took his hand and walk him into Deepak's room. Without saying a word, she took a bindi and placed between his eye brows. Deepak was stunned by that. Then she took a dupatta and pinned it on his shoulders. 

"If you go out like this. No one will doubt you, otherwise you will raise some suspicions", warned Jaya. 

Deepak doesn't want to wear a bindi and dupatta but he believed Jaya's words and agreed with her. 

The entire day Rupa was angry on herself for scolding Deepak. She thought, she acted like a toxic husband. 

When she came home, she immediately went to Deepak, he was working in the kitchen. She hugged him tightly from behind and started to apologize. Deepak didn't respond. He was angry on Rupa. 

After pleading and apologize for a long time, Deepak looked at her. Only then Rupa realised Deepak wearing a bindi and dupatta as well but she didn't comment on it. 

"Move aside, I will do the cooking today", said Rupa. 

"It's ok, you must be tired from all the office work. I will do it ", said Deepak

While having dinner, Rupa couldn't stop starring at Deepak. He was looking so feminine and beautiful. She couldn't control herself. After having dinner, she took him to the bedroom. 

Next day early in the morning, Deepak went out and drew the rangoli after cleaning everything.  

For a week, Deepak didn't get any trouble but the following day, when he was drawing the rangoli. He noticed one of his neighbors drawing a rangoli as well. 

After few days, as he was drawing it, he noticed someone standing before. Nervously he raised his head and saw one of his neighbors standing before. 

"Hello, dear. Are you Rupa's relative? " Asked the lady

With a smile Deepak nodded his head. 

"What's your name? " Asked the lady. 

"DEEPA" Said Deepak trying to sound as femenine as possible. 

"I am Radhika" Said the woman

"I am been observing you dear for the past few days. Don't get me wrong but woman should always wear bangles. You look so traditional with your long hair, start wearing bangles also dear", said Radhika with a smile. All Deepak did was to nod his head. 

The very next, when Deepak decided to go out to draw rangoli, he immediately remembered Radhika. He thought, if she sees him without bangles, she might make a fuss about it. So with embarrassment, he took Rupa's bangles from her wardrobe and wore 4 bangles to each hand. 

He was ashamed to steal his wife's bangles. He went out and started to draw the rangoli and in between he looked at Radhika and she was already looking at him with a smile, so he smiled back. 

As soon as he entered the home , he immediately removed the bangles and placed them in the wardrobe. It continued for days. Until one day, 

He was entering his room after he drew the rangoli but to his surprise , Rupa woke up early and she saw him wearing bangles. It surprised Rupa and it stunned Deepak. 

"It's ok dear. But wear bangles that match your nighty", suggested Rupa and Deepak was ashamed. 

"Now, can you make a strong coffee for me? ", asked Rupa and Deepak went to kitchen wearing the bangles. 

Rupa doesn't know why Deepak was wearing bangles but she didn't care about it. 

When Jaya saw him in bangles she was surprised. She was thinking of ways to make Deepak wear bangles but without her effort, Deepak already started to wear them. 

In the evening, Rupa came home with a bag. 

"What is it? " Asked Deepak with excitement

"I bought, these for you", said Rupa and took bangles, bindi packets and few hair accessories. 

Deepak was stunned. Rupa replaced his bangles with the new bangles. 

" See, this is how bangles should be", said Rupa, playing with his bangles. 

"I will keep them in our room, wear these from now onwards", said Rupa and went to their room. 

From the next day onwards he started to wear his bangles since Rupa's bangles are little tight. 

After few day, when Jaya and Deepak were in the house, they heard a doorbell. Jaya opened it and it's Radhika. 

She put sindoor on Jaya's forehead and invited her to her daughter's puberty function. Then she walked over to Deepak and did the same thing. Deepak was stunned. 

"You both should definitely come", said Radhika and left. 

Jaya saw this as a golden opportunity. 

" I can't attend ladies function ", said Deepak with fear. 

" But you have to Deepak. If you don't. She might hold a grudge against you and it will create problema for you and Rupa as well ", said Jaya. 

Deepak doesn't know what to do. 

"You don't worry. I will be with you ", said Jaya

In the evening, first Jaya got ready in a saree and came to Deepak's house. 

As he was instructed he shaved him entire body. Once he came back from the bathroom, he saw a saree along with a blouse and petticoat. 

" I don't want a saree", said Deepak

"Deepak, everyone will wear saree. If you don't, then everyone's focus will be on you" Warned Jaya and Deepak was confused. 

Without wasting anytime, Jaya helped him to the blouse and the petticoat. For good shape, whe placed a small clothes in his blouse. As he stood nervously, Jaya started to drape the saree. 

Once the saree is draped, he sat before the dressing table and Jaya did her magic and she shifted her focus on his hair. After middle parting his hair, she nearly braided it, 

Since he is already wearing earrings and anklets. So matching bangles and a bindi finished his look. 

Deepak was very nervous. He stayed beside Jaya as they entered Radhika's home. 

As soon as they entered, Radhika greeted them and offered them jasmine flowers. Deepak took them but he doesn't know what to do. Once Jaya wore the flowers in her hair, she took the flowers from Deepak's hands and pinned them in his braid. 

As the function started, Deepak hoped he can go back home within 15 min but instead, Radhika introduced him to everyone in the name of Deepa. 

It 2 hours for Deepak to get back home and he has met a lot of woman. 

As soon as he came home, with the help of Jaya he removed his saree and changed into a nighty. He requested Jaya not to tell Rupa about him wearing a saree to ladies function. Rupa considers Deepak as her friend as well, so she agreed.

When Rupa came home

"I didn't know you like you wear flowers", said Rupa looking at Deepak. 

Only then Deepak placed his hand on the back off his head and realised the flowers are still pinned in his braid. Now he doesn't know what to say to Rupa, so he remained silent. 

Next day, as he was working in the kitchen, Rupa came home and he continued to work, just then he felt Rupa is doing something in his braid, when he smelled jasmine flowers, he realised what Rupa was doing. Before he can say, anything. Rupa already pinned them in his hair with the ends of garland strands resting on his shoulders. 

For the few months, everyday Rupa would bring flowers for Deepak and along with Jaya, he started to go to the ladies functions, with each function, his woman friendd circle increased and he was invited to many ladies functions. Because of Jaya's insistence, he learnt to drape the saree. 

Deepak was little afraid, he thought soon Rupa might know, he has been attending ladies functions in a saree. And the day finally came, as he and Rupa were in the house on Sunday, one of the ladies came to their home, seeing her Deepak's heart started to race, he quickly hid in the kitchen. 

That woman invited Rupa for the function and

"Where is Deepa? " Asked the woman

Rupa wandered who is Deepa. 

"Deepa", shouted the lady. With no choice, Deepak walked to the hall. 

The lady smiled and invited Deepak also to the function. Seeing it, Rupa was shocked. Why is the lady calling Deepak as  Deepa? 

Rupa remained silent. 

In the evening at 4:30 pm, Rupa decided to get ready for the function, so she got up from the sofa and started talking walk towards their room, just then Deepak walked wearing a saree. It was draped perfectly and he wore little make up as well. It stunned Rupa. Rupa doesn't know, when he learnt all these things. 

She wondered why Jaya hid these things from her but she realised Jaya must be having a reason behind it. 

Once Rupa got ready, both of them went to the function. Throughout the function Rupa observed Deepak. He was behaving like a woman and not a single woman thought Deepa is actually a man. 

Once they came back home, Deepak changed back into a nighty. Rupa didn't ask him anything but Deepak felt the need to explain it to Rupa. 

So in the night when they were on bed Deepak explain everything and said sorry to Rupa. 

"Deepa, you don't need to say sorry. I am actually happy that you are mingling with other ladies", said Rupa with a smile and kissed him. 

Deepak was embarrassed when Rupa called him Deepa and including him with other ladies. 

After that Rupa requested Deepak to wear sarees at home but Deepak didn't agree. He wore sarees only to the ladies function. 

One day it was Rupa's birthday and Deepak felt sad for not getting any gift for her. So after taking a bath, he opened his wardrobe for a nighty. Then he realised, Rupa has been asking him to wear a saree for her, so he thought atleast this way he can make her happy. So he picked out a silk saree from Rupa's wardrobe and he perfectly wore it. 

Then he sat before the dressing table and started to do his hair. After brushing it, he middle parted his hair and started to braid it. After he applied little make up and he the wore the matching bangles and a bindi. 

Only then Deepak understood why it takes so much time for a woman to get ready. 

Then he quickly went to kitchen and made a coffee for Rupa. 

He felt very shy while waking up Rupa. When Rupa saw him in a silk saree, she couldn't control her happiness. She hugged him tightly and kissed him. 

"I am sorry Rupa. I couldn't get any gift for you", said Deepak sadly. 

" A gift? You the biggest gift for me. A life long gift", said Rupa with a bright smile. 

Deepak felt happy listening to it. 

"Deepa, you look so beautiful in a saree", said Rupa romantically

Deepak started to blush. 

Once Rupa got ready. She went to kitchen, where Deepak was preparing breakfast. 

"Deepak can we go to a temple? "Asked Rupa. 

Deepak hesitated a bit but he realised, he has been going out in sarees and he never had any trouble. So he agreed to go. 

Without any trouble, they prayed for the god and sat in the temple for a while. Rupa watched as her husband applied turmaric paste to his cheeks and wore the flowers in the hair just like her. She couldn't help but smile. And most importantly he is happy, thought Rupa. 

Since then because of Rupa's request he started to wear sarees on weekends and after that he started to wear them everyday. He knows Rupa liked seeing him, so he did it. 

Rupa thought everything is going well, but she started to get lot of marriage proposals for Deepa from many ladies. So Rupa thought of a solution. 

Rupa explained the situation to Deepak and he was stunned, that he was getting marriage proposals from men. 

"Deepa, I got a job in different location and we are shifting there", said Rupa

Listening to it, Deepak felt happy. He thought he can start wearing pants again. 

"But you will be Deepa there as well" Said Rupa and it shocked Deepak. 

"But why? " Asked confused Deepak

"Because I like you as Deepa", said Rupa without any hesitation. 

" There we will tell everyone that we are sister in laws and our husbands work in Dubai ", said Rupa. Deepak was very confused listening to it. 

"This is my plan. Tell me your decision soon", said Rupa and went office. 

After a while Deepak went to Jaya's home. He was confused. He explained the situation to Jaya. 

" Deepak, if you ask me, it's a simple decision ", said Jaya with a smile. 

"Just think, who made Rupa happy, either it's Deepak or Deepa. Who made the relationship between you and Rupa made stronger. And most importantly, you have been a perfect housewife to Rupa than a imperfect husband", said Jaya without any hesitation. 

He went home and started to think about it. 

In the evening Rupa came home and she was silent. Deepak sat beside her. 

"Rupa, I thought about what you said. But what's my husband's name? " Asked Deepak shyly. 

Listening to it, Rupa face beamed with happiness. 

"It's Rupesh" Shouted Rupa with joy. 

After few weeks, they thanked Jaya and moved to a new location. 

On their wedding anniversary, both of them went to the temple wearing matching silk sarees and Rupa tied the mangalsutra around his neck making him her wife.
