Started on Mother's day - 3

 First the bindi stickers were small but once the packet was over. Rekha bought new one for sujith, but they are little bigger than the previous once. 

It continued for few months, all his nighties are faded, so one day rekha took sujith to shopping, sujith does not know about buying nighties for him. Rekha shopped for her  clothes and then asked sujith to look for nighties. 

Sujith didn't expect it. Rekha asked the sales girl for the nighties. Rekha thought they are too old model and asked for little bit new model. So sales girl started to show them. Just then rekha received a call from her boss, she asked  sujith to select 6 nighties. 

Sujith was embarrassed, as she was speaking, sales girl was showing him the nighties. 

My wife is on the call, if you don't mind, can you pick 6 latest nighties, asked sujith. 

I can pick  but it's best if you pick it, you can't return it later, said the sales girl 

No problem, I think you have good taste, says sujith 

As the sales girl was picking the nighties, he didn't pay much attention. She picked 6 and gave him. Just then rekha came 

Did you select? Asked rekha 

Yes, responsed sujith 

They went home and in the evening sujith open it to wear a nighty. Rekha was also in the room. What came out shocked him. 

It's a sleeveless sexy nighty. He was stunned. Even rekha was surprised. 

It's so girly and reveling. 

Sujith, I know you wanted it and bought it but it's little inappropriate,  we should return it, said rekha 

We can't return it said sujith

Then you have no choice, when you wear it, wear a dupatta on top of it, said rekha 

Sujith does not want to do but he has no choice now. 

Sujith wore the new nighty, while rekha took a dupatta from her wardrobe. 

Rekha looked at sujith. 

In our bed room, you no  need to wear dupatta whispered rekha and smiled 

Rekha took the dupatta and covered his shoulders. The ends of dupatta crossed his knees on both sides. 

Now sujith, you to need handle the dupatta properly said rekha 

Means? Asked. Sujith 

When you sit, take the ends of the dupatta and placed it on your lap and be conscious about it. Said rekha 

Rekha made him sit few times while he was handling dupatta properly. 

He was ashamed to leave the room, he doesn't want his kids to see him like this, but he doesn't have any other choice. 

As he walked out of room and went hall. Anjali saw him and just smiled at him. 

It was very uncomfortable for sujith while working, he has to keep on adjusting it. While taking something from the floor, he was bending his back and dupatta was falling. Anjali saw it came to him. 

Dad, while picking something from the floor, don't bend your back, bend your knees and otherwise you have to keep on adjusting the dupatta. And when you are entering any room, don't close the door quickly, go inside make sure, YOUR dupatta won't stuck in the door said, Anjali 

Sujith listened everything carefully. He has to remember these things. 

Sujith slowly started to follow them, he started to observe how his wife and daughter take care of the dupatta. Even while watching TV. He started to notice how the woman handle their clothes. 

Slowly rekha insisted sujith to wear nighties on Saturday and Sunday as well. 

Since he was not going out, he as no choice was wearing nighties Saturdays and Sundays. Rekha bought few dupattas for him. 

Soon he got used to dupatta. 

One Saturday after the bath he took a nighty to wear but rekha stopped him. 

You no need to wear nighties even at day time, said rekha 

So you want me to wear pant and shirt asked sujith

I know you like nighties and playing with dupatta, so I don't want to force you to wear pant and shirt said rekha 

Playing with dupatta? He thought 

He got used to dupatta so much. When India won the match he generally removes his shirt and  rotates. But one day he rotated his dupatta and rekha saw it. 

As he was remembering it.

Here wear this, said rekha 

He came back to reality and saw what rekha gave him. He was stunned. It's a salwar. 

It's a salwar, I can't wear it, said sujith

Of course you can, it is similar to a nighty and it has a dupatta as well, said rekha 

He doesn't want to wear it but rekha didn't listen. She took the top and made him wear it then the pant. She took the dupatta and placed it on his shoulder. 

See that's it, said rekha 

Sujith was in disbelief. Here he is standing in a salwar. While he is still in shock, rekha did his hair and placed a bindi on his forehead. 

He slowly Walked out of the room. After a while anjali saw him. She is surprised. She came to him. 

Dad, salwar really suits you,  said anjali

Sujith just smiled and said thank you.
