Started on Mother's day - 5

 Next day after the bath as sujith expected it's a silk saree. Today he didn't complain about it, he knows it's useless. 

Just like yesterday rekha started to teach him about how to drape the saree. After the saree, rekha did his make up and he is already. 

As he came out of the room. He saw anjali  is all ready in the saree and Rahul in shirt and dhoti. But anjali was holding few things for puja as well. 

We have go quickly or the the temple will be full, said rekha 

Sujith we stunned, he can't go out in a saree. As rekha, anjali and Rahul are walking towards the door, sujith didn't move. 

Rekha noticed, sujith is not walking, Rahul and anjali went out to the car. 

Sujith why are you just standing there? Asked rekha 

I can't go out, said sujith 

Why not? Asked rekha 

Because I am in a saree, said sujith angrily. 

So what I am also wearing saree, said rekha 

It's different for you. You are a women, says sujith. 

Rekha took his hand and walked him towards a mirror. 

Now look in the mirror and see, do you see a man here? Asked rekha 

Sujith was embarrassed, he was looking like a woman. 

I am not embarrassing you sujith. I am just saying, you can pass as a woman outside, said rekha 

It might be true but sujith doesn't want to risk it, his close friends or neighbors might recognize him. 

I don't want to go out, said sujith. 

Sujith, every year we pray to the God, and this year is no different. I took time and effort to make you pass as women, so we all can go out. We are going in the car, so no one will see us, we go to the temple and quickly we can come back. We know it's bad luck, not going to temple today, said rekha 

Sujith is little hesitant but rekha took his hand and walked him out, before he can change his mind, she quickly locked the door. 

Rahul is in the driver seat and anjali sat on the back seat, sujith got into the car and sat beside anjali then rekha sat beside him. Sujith was very nervous but rekha assured him not to be nervous. 

They reached the temple and sujith slowly go out of the car. He was very nervous. Rahul went to park the car. 

Rekha, anjali and sujith started to walk towards the temple. Rahul quickly parked the car and joined them. As they entered the temple. There are two ques for men and women. Rahul went to men's row. Sujith was little confused. 

Based  on the clothes, you have to choose the rows. Today you are wearing a saree so you have to come in ladies row. If you ever in a pant and shirt when we come to the temple, you can go in men's row, says rekha 

So sujith along with rekha and anjali went to ladies row. He is still nervous. They prayed for the God and the priest gave them flowers and turmeric paste. They decided to sit in the temple for a minute. 

Rekha and anjali sat but sujith does not know how to sit on the floor in a saree. He saw how rekha sat and he did the same thing. 

Rekha and anjali kept the flowers in their hair and applied turmeric paste to their checks. Sujith just watched them doing it. 

Rekha took the flowers and turmeric paste sujith was holding in his hands. She pinned the flowers in his hair and quickly applied turmeric paste on his cheeks. Sujith was angry but he didn't say anything, he thought it get some attention from others. 

Then they all started to go outside and they were waiting for Rahul to bring the car from parking. Just then sujith noticed 4 ladies, kavya, Rupa, riya and neha,  who work with him coming towards him. 

They came and greeted rekha. Sujith was beside rekha but they didn't recognize him yet. 

Generally all your family members come to the temple together, asked neha 

Yes, today also we came together. Rahul is getting the car, said rekha 

Neha noticed a woman beside, before she can ask rekha about that woman, she looked at her closely. 

Neha gasped with surprise. It's sujith, she recognized.

Neha immediately told others it's sujith. They all looked at sujith and they were shocked. They could not believe their eyes. They moved close to sujith and looked at him from to you bottom. . 

With a smile they asked sujith, why are you in a saree? 

Before he can answer. 

On festivals, sujith wears sarees, said rekha 

You mean for all festivals he wear sarees. I thought only for today he wore a saree, said neha

He wore saree yesterday and for Diwali also he wore a saree said rekha 

Sujith was really embarrassed. And he is very nervous. 

They noticed sujith is uncomfortable. 

Sujith don't be uncomfortable, we won't think anything bad about you. Just like us, you like to wear sarees, there is nothing wrong in that, said Rupa 

We can become closer friends on the office, said Riya 

They all moved close to sujith and kavya asked sujith to smile and took a selfie. 

Soon after they left, sujith is still in shock. 

Even though Rekha was telling him not to worry, he was very nervous.
