Started with a salon

 Kiran and Anjali both are happily married couple. Both are software engineers and are permanently working from home. 

Their families also stays in the same city. 

One Friday evening, Anjali was thinking what to do tomorrow. Last time they did whatever Kiran planned, this week Anjali has to choose. 

Tomorrow, after my appointment in the salon, I have to plan something, thought Anjali 

Suddenly an idea came to her mind and smiled looking at Kiran. Kiran noticed, Anjali smiling at him and asked her for the reason. 

You remember, last week, we did whatever you wanted and this week I will pick, what we should do , said Anjali 

Yes, so what are you planning tomorrow? Asked Kiran 

Tomorrow, I have booked salon appointments for both of us, said Anjali with a smile 

Mean, what will this do to me? Asked Kiran with confusion. 

Everything, a complete make over. Your face, your nails, your hair, said Anjali excitingly. 

It's not happening, said Kiran immediately. 

Hey, don't back down. We have been doing this for a while, one week you pick the adventure, another week, I will pick the adventure, said Anjali 

Still Kiran didn't agree. 

If you agree to do this, I do will whatever you want the next week, without any hesitation, said Anjali

Kiran thought for while and agreed. 

Anjali felt very happy and booked an appointment for Kiran as well. 

Next day Anjali and Kiran are all ready.  Kiran we having second thoughts about it. 

As soon as they reached the salon, the beauticians agreed them. Anjali explained them everything and the beauticians smiled at Kiran. 

As they both sat on the chair. The beauticians started their work. They have so much work on Kiran. It was painful waxing for Kiran, he almost cried. After that they started work on his face, while other beauticians started working on his nails. His nails are properly trimmed and added extension to his nail, they then applied Polish and nail Polish to his nails in red color. 

They they moved to his hair, his natural hair is till his shoulders, so they added hair extensions and now it will reach till his waist and they neatly styled it. 

Once all his make over is done, Anjali looked at Kiran with astonishment. He is looking so beautiful. Anjali immediately took a pair of earrings and a pair of golden bangles from her bag. 

Kiran resisted at first, while wearing a bangles but Anjali was adamant. Then she took the earrings, she prayed the holes in his wear lobes are not closed, they were pierced years ago. When fixed the earrings, his Beauty increased even more. 

When Kiran looked on the. Mirror, he was surprised. He looked beautiful but his clothes doesn't suit the look. He noticed a bindi on his forehead as well. 

Anjali was so impressed by the beautician, she paid them good tip as well. 

Kiran's long hair is beautifully curled at the ends and resting on his shoulders. Kiran was struggling with his hair, but Anjali thought, he looked really cute. 

As they were in the car, Kiran's hair was flowing and he keeps adjusting with his long nails. Whenever he moved his head, his dangling earnings kept on touching his cheeks. 

Kiran was too focused on his appearance, he didn't realize where Anjali is going. 

When he realized, they were just a kilometer away from his parents. He tried to convince Anjali but it's of no use. 

Kiran walked along with Anjali to his parents door. Anjali ring the door bell and Kiran's mom Rupa opened the door. 

First Rupa didn't recognize Kiran and was speaking with Anjali. Then she looked closely at Kiran realized, it's Kiran. Her eyes wide opened with a surprise. Both Kiran and Anjali walked inside. Just then his dad, Raghu also came. He was surprised by Kiran's look. 

Rupa sat beside Kiran and caressed his hair with her fingers and touched his earrings and noticed his bangles as well. 

Anjali explained everything to them. Rupa caught Kiran's hand and pulled him to her room. 

Both Anjali and Raghu doesn't know what's going on. After nearly half hour, the door opened and saw only Rupa. 

Kiran, now come out, said Rupa 

Since he is not coming out, she caught his hand and dragged him outside. 

Both Raghu and Anjali were stunned looking at Kiran. 

Rupa dressed him in a saree, his hands are filled with bangles, necklaces, Jhumkas to his ears and they heard sound of anklet also when Kiran moved. 

Rupa put her hands on his shoulders and escorted him to Anjali. Kiran was too ashamed, he didn't even look at Anjali. 

Anjali and Raghu still surprised by the result. There is no trace of a man in Kiran now. 

Oh God, you look really beautiful, said Anjali and Raghu

When Kiran was not watching then. Anjali signalled Rupa to take him outside and meet her parents, also. They are in walkable distance as well. Rupa put her hand on Kiran's shoulder and walked him towards the door. Kiran followed Rupa blindly. When he realized he is at the entrance. Anjali caught his other hand and pulled him out. Kiran started to panic. They closed the door as well. Kiran started to feel nervous. They made him to wear Rupa's sandals and started walk towards Anjali's family. Kiran doesn't know what to do. He was the walking towards his in law in a saree and he couldn't stop it. On the way Rupa told Kiran to handle his pleats properly. 

They stood before the door and rang the bell. Kiran was too nervous and embarrassed.  Anjali's mom Radhika opened the door. She is happy to see her daughter and welcomed then inside. She still thinks Kiran is some unknown woman. 

As they sat on the sofa, 

So Anjali, where is Kiran? She asked 

Anjali smiled and looked at Kiran. Radhika still doesn't understand. 

She looked at Kiran closely and realized it's Kiran. She closed her mouth with her hand with a surprise. 

She immediately got up and sat beside, Kiran. She hugged him and kissed him on his forehead. 

Kiran, you look so beautiful. This saree suits you perfectly, said Radhika 

Just then Anjali 's dad, Rupesh also came. When Radhika told him that this women is Kiran, he was shocked. 

I was thinking to call Kiran and go out with him and Raghu, said Rupesh 

It's not an option now, since Kiran is one of us now, said Radhika

Slowly Kiran started to feel comfortable and started speaking.  

By lunch time, Raghu and Rupesh reached home. The ladies started to go to kitchen, while Kiran sat in the sofa. 

Kiran, behave the way you are dressed. You are women now, so come to kitchen, said Rupa and pulled Kiran into kitchen. 

They didn't ask Kiran to do much work, he just stood among the ladies. The ladies kept on taking about Kiran. 

At night after dinner, the ladies sat on the garden. Kiran also sat along with with them in a feminine way. 

Just then Rupa brought mehindi and started to apply to Kiran's arms. Kiran didn't resist, since it's useless. While his mom doing his arms, Radhika took lot of flowers and pinned them in his hair. Kiran couldn't do anything about it. 

Anjali started to talk about a serial and Kiran found it really interesting. 

After completion of his arms, Kiran started to feel sleepy and Radhika noticed it. 

Anjali, take her to the bed room, Kiran is feeling sleepy, said Radhika

Anjali helped Kiran to stand up and escorted him to their room. After tucking him in the bed, she kissed him on the forehead and left. 

Next he woke up late. He immediately went to bath room and cleaned his arms. When he came out, Radhika was waiting for him with a saree. 

Within no time they both left the room and Kiran is all ready. 

Along with Radhika, he went to kitchen and started to help. Rupa and anjali smiled seeing Kiran in the saree. 

Without realizing Kiran was enjoying the ladies company. 

In the evening, when they are in the garden. 

Kiran, I think you should continue to be a women, at least when you are with us, said Rupa

Before he can say anything, 

Yes, Kiran. I always felt bad, when Raghu and Rupesh went out without you, since you all have different interests. We 3 ladies spent lot of time together. Since now you are also a women, we 4 ladies can spend a lot of  time together, said Radhika

Kiran knew whatever, Radhika said it's true. 

I was thinking, we can visit our parent regularly now, of course we meet them as women, said Anjali

We thought, you should stop cutting your hair from now onwards , said Rupa 

Lot of things were going inside his head. 

After 5 years 

Everyone is going to a picnic, Raghu was driving the car, Rupesh sat beside him. In the back sat Rupa, Radhika, Anjali and Kiran. Of course they all are in sarees. 

Kiran's daughter sat on his lap and was playing with his natural long braided hair, which is touching his hips now, playing with his bangles etc. Kiran liked spending time with the ladies and a year ago his nose is also pierced.
