Magical hair

"You can grow your hair long like that", said Sravan to his wife Neha, pointing to a woman who has hair till her hips. 

I have told you before, it's really difficult to handle long hair, said Neha angrily

It's not like you are going out to work, said Sravan. 

Neha studied really well but after the marriage, Sravan denied her to do a job. 

Neha and Sravan stood before the god and closed their eyes to pray. 

Just then Sravan felt some placed their palm on his head, he thought it might be a priest. 

When he opened his eyes he was stunned to see a crazy old lady blessing him. He immediately got angry on her. 

Don't cut your hair, if you do, you will be published, said the lady with a smile. 

Sravan thought who is this crazy lady. 

They went home and at night he slept peacefully. 

Next day when Neha woke up she was stunned to see a woman sleeping beside her. She immediately screamed.

Listening to Neha's scream Sravan woke up. He noticed long hair covering his face. He doesn't know from where the hair came from. He pulled it and he immediately felt the pain. He realised it's his natural hair. 

Neha recognised it's Sravan but she wondered how his hair has grown this long. Only then both of then remembered the old lady. 

Both Sravan and Neha were still couldn't believe their eyes. 

Sravan sat on the bed without knowing what to do now. 

Because of the wind his hair started to cover his eyes and Sravan started to get very angry. Seeing his struggle, Neha decided to him. She quickly braided his hair. 

I am sorry, I braided your hair but it's the best way to handle long hair, said Neha. 

Sravan got very angry seeing his braid. 

He immediately went bathroom and cut his long braid. 

The best way to handle long hair is to cut it, said Sravan showing the braid in his hand. 

Why did cut it? Shouted Neha. 

Don't you remember what the lady said, if you cut your hair, you with be punished, said Neha with fear. 

Sravan didn't care about it. 

At night Neha was little scared, she doesn't know what's going to happen? 

Next day when Neha woke up she immediately looked at Sravan and was stunned to see large amount of hair on the bed. 

She woke up Sravan and Sravan was stunned and scared looking at his long hair. The length of his hair is doubled after cutting it. He started to shake. He doesn't know what to do. Just like yesterday, seeing the messy hair, Neha started to braid it. Once Neha braided it, Sravan stood up and both of them stunned to see the length of the braid. It's touching his knees. A tear ran down Sravan's eyes. 

How can I handle this hair? And how can I continue my life?, Asked Sravan with tears in his eyes.

After 2 years, 

Sravani, Kavya and Rupa (their neighbors) are waiting for you, said Neha entering their room. 

I am ready, said Sravan after he looked himself in the mirror and made sure the saree is draped correctly. He is going to attend a ladies function. 

Sravan joined the ladies to attend the ladies function. while Neha went to work in a car.
